Our Kid’s program for the Festival is finalized and for view on the web page!

There will be Marbling with Marian who will show you how to make your own colourful pattern using acrylic paints. At the end you will be able to take home a pretty picture. We will have cooking classes with Dawn Cook and Christine Corner from Crave Natural decorating cup cakes and making a chocolate – nut treat and have Sam Paine offering Charcoal art on a big blackboard. Any child – or even adult – who would like to be part of this collaborative project can pick up an crayon and add something to the Gulgong themed Folk Festival – Gold Rush – themed image. Children also will be able to make their own little instruments and can help us to create a big community dream catcher which will be displayed later at the Midsummer Night Magic Show  in the Prince of Wales Opera House. Both days will close up with story telling and children are welcomed to join the circle. The Kid’s activity centre will be at the Old National Building corner Mayne/Herbert street. Circus activities from the $ 10 Circus of the Gulgong Public School like learning to walk on stilts or a huge ball, juggling, poi swinging  and Face painting with Belinda who with her artistic touch

can transform faces into fairies, mermaids, butterflys and wild tiger’s will be held at the Car yard next to the Veterinary clinic in Mayne Street. Hope to see you there! For more details and a time table you can have a look at our activity program.
